Biography
Gloria Grace Blinn is an award winning, self taught artist. Her passion is painting en plein air and creating original works of art through life experience. Several prestigious galleries have hosted her artwork and her paintings are collected by an international clientele.
Born in Casper, Wyoming she grew up in a large family and often escaped into her imagination to find solace and let her creativity come to life. She had the opportunity to travel internationally to England and Ireland, and also did charity work in Seoul South Korea. The traveling experiences increased her keen awareness to a world of beauty around her. She chose to pursue art in col-
lege and received three gallery awards while attending. She donated paintings to an art auction where her art won popularity and businesses asked her to display her art. In one she developed a permanent exhibit creating an opportunity to develop personal clients. This led to opening a public studio giving opportunities for sharing her art through private lessons and workshops.
While participating in plein air art competitions she won several awards.
Her art was chosen for the 11th National Plein Air Competition in Santa Fe. She has participated in exhibitions at New Mexico Cancer Center's Gallery With a Cause. Given an internship with the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum she was able to produce the Inaugural Interna-
tional Balloon Art Competition. She also had the opportunity to work alongside author Dennis Logstrom to illustrate her first children's story The Rumble Tumble Thunderstorm.
Currently residing in Florida with her husband and three children, she continues to educate and grow as an artist. Find her in the field or in her studio painting teaching, and giving the world the beauty that inspires her.
