Tao

Tao was born in Hebei, Shijiazhuang City, China in 1958.  He graduated from the Hebei University of Fine Arts in 1985 and exhibited his first One Man Show in 1996 at the Beijing Embassy in Germany.

Tao made his first visit to the United States in 2000 and was invited to exhibit his work at the American gallery in Boston.  In the same year, his works were also shown at the Florence International Art Exhibit in Italy.

In 2001, Tao showed his work at the Austrian National Chamber of Commerce in Vienna as well as receiving an invitation to participate at the "Biennial di Venezia" in Italy.  The following year, he exhibited in a One Man Show in Marseille, France.

Success continued for Tao in 2003 as his work returned to China for a One Man Show in Shanghai.  Later that year, Tao's paintings were exhibited again in the United States for an exclusive showing at Galerie Zuger in Santa Fe.

Tao continues to reside in China.
