Laurent Parcelier

Original Oils
Laurent's fame was beginning to spread as a cartoonist when on a whim he entered a painting contest.  He borrowed canvases, paint and brushes and he won first prize.  Since then he has devoted his life to painting and has developed a rather distinctive style. Through the interpenetration of light, shapes and spots, he has invented his own way of painting without  compromising the perception of reality.

Parcelier could be called a “poet of the light”.  Whatever setting surrounds him offers him the opportunity to turn that light into the sum of his compositions.

You must study his magnificent paintings to marvel at and begin to enjoy what he has created for us.  We could go on for paragraphs hoping to hit upon a word or two that would resonate with the viewer.  His work is, simply stated, phenomenal - look at it, study it and escape with it to another place.
